| AutumnWave, Dell make inroads with Dickinson College |

Jim Ryan of the Central Penn Business Journal writes: The school wants students to buy and use the HDTV receivers with their computers instead of bringing televisions to save energy and space on electronics, Nelson said. "You've got the computer on all the time, so why add another clunky device to use energy?" said Patrick Castellani, AutumnWave's president and chief operating officer. AutumnWave will connect the HD receivers to computers for demonstration at Dickinson's Aug. 21 orientation for first-year students, he said. Analog televisions typically use 30-40 watts of electricity, Castellani said. Larger models can use as much as 150 watts. An HDTV receiver uses two watts from the computer through the USB port, he said.
